Boba in the City of Light

If you’re wondering how deep my bubble tea obsession runs, it made it into my wedding vows last summer.
Yes, really. For a number of years, bubble tea has been my go-to comfort drink, reward, and excuse for wandering the city. So when I set out to explore the best boba spots in Paris, it only felt right to turn my obsession into a guide.

So yes—this guide comes from a very serious place. Whether you’re new to bubble tea or already know your order by heart, these are the Parisian spots worth sipping your way through.

Where to find the best Boba

Yi Fang

Yi Fang has many locations but my personal favourite is the Pyramides location in the heart of the city. In my opinion, Yi Fang does the best fruit tea in all of Paris. It has an extensive menu including fresh fruit, passion fruit, melon, pineapple and mango, to name a few. I usually go for the fresh fruit tea, packed with four different fruits. When the tea’s gone, you can use a small stick to snack on the fruit at the bottom—an extra treat that’s delicious. When the sun is shining and I want a refreshing tea, Yi Fang is my top pick. Best of all – they use no artificial flavouring.

You can view their menu here.

Tea Yammi

Tea Yammi isn’t just known for its bubble tea; it’s also a Japanese pastry shop offering homemade pastries, a combination that truly sets it apart. At the moment (January 2026) they are offering a Galette de rois with red bean paste and Uji matcha almond cream. I personally cannot wait to try it. Their bubble tea is simple but tasty and they offer specialities such as Mr Litchi which can be served as a frappé, or with cream. If you want a snack with your bubble tea, Tea Yammi is the right choice.

machi machi

For something a bit different, I go to machi machi. I love their black milk tea with crème brûlée but the chocolate latte and pana cotta strawberry milk are also worth a try. Their menu is small but unique. And it’s a nice change from the more typical menus you see in the other bubble tea spots in the city. You can check it out here.

Xing Fu Tang

When I am craving a brown sugar boba, or a boba milk tea, I head to Xing Fu Tang. For me, this is the go-to spot for dessert-style bubble teas—perfect for when you’re craving something sweet. If you look closely you can see that there is a small, white pana cotta rabbit on top of my tea (pictured below). This is unique to Xing Fu Tang and their menu.

They make their tapioca pearls fresh right in front of you, which is amazing to watch. Just keep in mind that once they sell out, they’re gone. Tapioca takes a long time to prepare, so if you’re visiting on a weekend, go early.

Le Thé

Le Thé is definitely one of the lesser-known boba spots, tucked away on rue de l’Oratoire in the 1st arrondissement. They offer a great selection of milk and fruit teas, and I love how much care they put into their marketing. They also do some limited edition drinks during the different seasons, like their iced mango latte. They don’t have a menu online but you can check out their instagram.

Laïzé

Last but definitely not least, my ultimate favourite, Laïzé. Ever since my trip to Taiwan in 2024, I’ve been on the hunt for the most authentic Taiwanese tea in Paris—and I finally found it. The Golden Oolong is my usual go-to order, though honestly, everything on the menu is tempting. It’s the only place I don’t have a photo of, because I drink the tea before I get a chance! I also love their marais location, but there are several different spots in Paris.

So, Paris may be famous for croissants and café culture, but its bubble tea scene is equally worth exploring. From fruity sips to creamy classics, there’s a cup for every craving—so grab a straw and let the city surprise your taste buds!
