Tonight’s gig felt less like a concert and more like stepping into a time machine. From the moment the band struck their first chord, something in the room shifted—suddenly I was 15 again, dancing without a hint of self-consciousness, living off the pulse of bands like The Kooks, the Coral and Turin Brakes.
Every year since I moved here in 2010 I’ve come to see the tree @galerieslafayette 🎄 it’s become a kind of ritual for me and I never feel like Christmas has arrived until I’ve popped in to see what incredible design they’ve come up with. This year is by far one of my favourites, I love how bright and beautiful it is! ✨ and who knew @galerieslafayette was 130 years old?? She is still looking fabulous
For my 35th birthday this year I just had to try the recently opened @publichouse.paris ✨ I’ve lived in Paris for almost 14 years now and one thing I really miss from home is good, hearty English pub food. The chef, Calum Franklin, has built a spectacular menu with the most delicious starters, authentic pies and even my favourite English dessert - sticky toffee pudding. The decor in the pub transported me to England and the drinks, including a delicious pimms aperitif, made me feel like I was right back home in the UK 🇬🇧 it’s taken a long time, but Paris FINALLY has a real English pub for his those of us who need a taste of home. I personally cannot wait to go back.
Spring is in the air! 🌸
✨Night at the Museum✨Last Thursday I was lucky enough to be invited to have a private tour of the Musée Picasso (after dark)! Our guide was absolutely wonderful and explained the concept of the new exhibition with British Artistic Director and fashion designer Paul Smith. ‘Picasso Celebration : the Collection in the New Light!’ demonstrates how Paul Smith has created a truly unique display in collaboration with the museum. Through his eyes, we discover a Picasso who was inventive, funny and experimental. I have deliberately not included all of my photos and videos because I cannot stress enough how much you need to see this exhibition for yourselves.
**VEGAN BRUNCH ALERT** 🥑 Today I got to try @sweetrawmance new address just a few steps away from the Sacre Coeur in Montmartre with my beautiful belle sœur @jenny_around_the_world 🤍 The food was absolute delicious and the service was great. I recommend sitting downstairs if you can (you can book online). It was 35 euros which included a hot drink, a fresh juice, a chia pudding bowl, avocado toast, pancakes AND a raw vegan cake. Amazing value for money and you’ll be absolutely stuffed! 😍 A must try. Merci @sweetrawmance and @jenny_around_the_world for showing me this resto! 🥑
